Help me find these wires....

I need to find the power wire that activates the fuel pump....

I also need to figure out how to wire in an HEI distributor, if it is different.

I am swapping out the TBI motor for a carbed version. 1990 Suburban.

All help is appreciated, and diagrams a bonus

Why not just get a Chiltons for the vehicle year and model the motor you are getting came out of. Could save you a world of hurt and printer paper.

If I remember correctly the fuel pump is powered via a relay mounted on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine compartment. It will look like a black box about 3" high and maybe 1.5" wide. I don't think 'burbs ever had twin tanks, but if by some chance yours did there sill be a relay for each tank mounted side by side. Working from memory hear so if I'm wrong I appologize.
