Help me pick my winch Warn M10000 or 8274?

Have 2 to pick from but i only get one either a used 8274 or a used m10000, So who reccomends either? I hear alot of positive feedback on the 8274 but not the m10000. Itll go on a 91 Blazer with 37s and one tons. Mostly rock/trail/snow and a little bit of mud, but i also posses a magic ability that gets me stuck alot.

The M10000 has been disco'd for several years now so parts may be an issue.

8274.. I have one on the front of my K5 & another in the floor of the shop. Can't beat them. If the spur is clicking it is pulling.

Just talked with the guy selling the m10000, he wants $400 for it. The 8274 is going for $700. Me thinks that 300 bones buys enough beer to compensate for slow line speed, takers?

$700 is high for a used 8274. They usually go for about $500 around here. That frice makes it a tough call, but I would still much rather have the 8274. It is $300 better.

I hear good reviews about the 8274 BUT the M10000 is going to be a little easier to package on the front of your rig.

i would take a 8274 anyday. they rock. longer cable, super fast, reliable, and cheaper parts.
i have gotten 3 of them now for $450 or less. all working fine
for $700, get a used 9500ti if you can find one.

both are great winches.i have a m10 and it just keeps pulling.it isnt as fast as a 8274.i have friends that have the 8274 and they love them.you wont go wrong with either one.

I'll also vote for the 8274.

Warn has been making that for eons. There's a ton of them out there and like others have said they are fast! They also seem to hold their value quite well.
