help me think

There is some mud runs 30 miles away this upcoming weekend. Registration is free and I've never really done any mud runs, just rocks and trails. I'm thinking about swapping my lincoln locked axles into my rig and driving up there. If i broke it i could always use my crew cab to tow it back. What do you guys think? I could get the axles in in no time flat. Im just running open 3/4 tons now.

seems like alot of work to me just for some mud runs...but if you can do it that quick, GO FOR IT!!!!! nothing like 4wd on a 4wd to get to through the mud. haha. get er done man

ive done enough axle swaps to count em on 2 hands now, i get quicker each time

If they were the same ratio I would just change the rear.I have done a little mud racing in the past.Better have a spare starter and or alt.
