I have a trc-435, I finally installed it permanantly with a lil-will antenna. I have no manual with the cb and dont know what some of the readings mean. on the front of the unit there is a scale that runs up to 5 or 7 and I think it might be a swr meter of some kind. what is this and does anyone have any info on the radio. anything will be appreciated.
thanks, gabe

That is simply a field strength meter that indicates relative
field strength when receiving and/or modulation level when transmitting..

Pic's too blurry for me too make it out. But set to Cal. Key mic, turn knob to set mark. Switch to SWR, key mic and see what SWR's read. The lower the better.
