The front clip of my truck is currently empty and it needs something.

The whole deal, in case you haven't seen it (it will likely have the rear fender skins here pretty quick)

I need to add headlights at least and I'd like to fill in the radiator area with a grille of some sort. I had initially planned on filling that space with the stock headlights, chrome trim and a small part of the grill like it used to be:

I guess tubing like this is an option too if one of you has a good idea, I don't want to copy anyone.

Any ideas?

Some sort of a small stinger and lights. You could always fab a chevy type grill after the other mods.

First thing came to mind is Hartley TNT... I haven't seen or heard about him in a long while. I don't know if he will fab the grille if you get a hold of him.

just something i came up with. I'm bored. Idk triangulation or anything like that but this looks alright to me

so are you gonna ditch the late 70's model front clip you have now??

All I have left is the grill and headlight trim (which has already been cut up some). The radiator support was not in good shape and went to the recycler with most of the rest of the body.

I've always liked the front of Toby's rig with just the grill.

That's a newer body style (80+ grille) with aftermarket lights. I really like the newer style but I'd like to keep everything on mine pre '79 for now.

If I kept a grille, I'd really be tempted to keep the stock one (since I'm still using the older fenders and what not). Aftermarket lights are cool by me (I'm unsure whether I can get the stock headlights and trim to look right).

I actually like the newest (K5) body style the best but I don't want to give up all of the old truck yet (sentimental deal I suppose).

I'm not particularly attached to the stock front clip (or that's what I would have decided on already) but I question whether I can make it look good.

Most of the other truggies out there use 80+ front clips. The stock ('77) grille looks fine IMO (I had to cut/glue/modify it a long time ago due to a winch relocation) but the headlights are the biggest issue for me.

I have a feeling none of my pictures are good enough for any photoshop work :doah:
