I am in the process of installing the new mile marker hubs and am stuck.

The new hub wont go in place
Should i have to force it?
Is there something im missing?

Cant tell if the big clip is in place. Could that stop it from going in?

Took the old hub and a rubber mallet and smaked it twice and it went into place

Not sure whatcha got going there, pictures?

Big snap ring goes on after for a warn or spicer type
Make sure new hub is not in lock position

If you are using a rubber mallet, keep in mind you should not need to

the big clip wouldnt go in the grove, so i had to pull it and cleaned the channel that it rides in then it jamed again wouldnt seat all the way i used the old hub and a rubber mallet to seat it. why that side fought me i dont know the other side went in like butter. will post pics later

Do yourself a favor and put a piece of electrical tape on the big ring. Makes it super easy to pull it out next time

whish i knew that this morning, but will do it soon have to put axle seals on the front so im going to buy ujoints, wheel bearins and seals and axle seals and do it all at once

i broke two of my picks when it jammedin place so i have to buy a new set i think ill spend more on them so they might last more than half a dozen uses

Sad part is i paid more for the jegs cheapys than a decent set from craftsman set would be.
