Help needed

Oatsk5 and I have just done an 8lug conversion on my Rig. That is fine I guess. I bought some new wheels, Black 15" 4.5 back spacing. Put the wheels on lugged them down.... NO Spinny (they don't turn) WE have ground down a lot still nothing... well not totally true. They spin free about a 1/4 turn then Wam and STOP!!! Right and left side. Bought 1/4 inch spacers no change. Oats has some chromies with 4and 1/4 back space fits better turns better but pretty much the same story. WE think the Back spacing is the Problem. Basically I can Not take the rims back.
So maybe I could sell the ones I have to help pay for the ones I need or Can I modify the ones I have in any way. Majorly open to suggestions As well as HEEEELLP. That is all

If you think that you are rubbing on the calipers then take crayon and color the top of the caliper housing and try to turn the rim, You should be able to tell where on the caliper you are hitting. this will help you grind in the right areas. usually the problem is on the leading and trailing edge of the caliper housing, so just a small area needs to be ground.

Back spacing shouldn't matter unless you are hitting on either the inner or outer fenderwell.
