1975 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 5.7L V8 4BL. When I turned the key to start the truck(CLICK) that's all it does each time I turn the key (CLICK) just once, it doesn't turn over, no other sounds just 1 click every time I turn key to try and start it up. everything else works all power works the battery is good lights work they are not dim. the only thing that occurs is click!

Check the basics. So just because the lights don't dim don't mean the battery has enough current to kick the starter over. Put a voltmeter on it. Check your cables at each end. Are the battery clamps covered in corrosion, loose or crappy bolt on to the cable? Is the connection at the starter or ground tight? How is the other connection at the starter? Is the starter drive working? Is the engine locked up? Has it been sitting a long time?

You need to go over the simple stuff first. Chances are it's right there in the battery, cables or the starter itself.

Ok, I've checked all basics even took the starter out cleaned it up and tested it, test was good. But what I did notice is that there is only the big battery cable wire connected to it that goes up to the solenoid terminal I guess it's called. But there is no wire connected to the S stud. I bring that up because every thing I read and see always includes that within the steps and things. ANYONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THIS AND THAT HAS FIGURED OUT OR FIXED IT. Please Help. Thanx. No hasn't been sitting, everything was fine until this occurred Friday November 10, 2017

Well, there's your problem right there.
The S stud is what turns on the solenoid, and the solenoid is what turns on the starter.

You have two problems. One, you need to find the purple wire that is supposed to be hooked to that stud and put it back on.
But, what might be just as important, you need to figure out what happened to it. They don't usually just fall off. Either someone took it off, or you may have a rodent problem.

There should be two red wires hooked to the same terminal as the battery cable. I suspect they are still there, because you would not have power elsewhere if they were gone.

First find that purple wire and hook it up, then it should at least turn over.
