If that's good, pull the top off the cap and check the wires to the coil.
If those are good, check the wires from the cap to the module.
If those are good, check the wires from the module to the pickup coil.
If those are good, then you have either a bad coil, bad module or bad pickup coil. When checking wires, don't just look at them and assume they're good. These wires like to break internally. You'll need an ohmeter to do it right. Attach to both ends of the wire and wiggle it around to check for internal breaks.
Most auto parts stores can test the module. Be sure they test it three or four times in a row to make sure it warms up.
If you have that ohmmeter, you can check the coil and pickup coil yourself.
The coil should have around .5 ohms between B+ and ground and... crap, forgot the number... 20Kohms? from the output pad on the bottom to ground.
The pickup coil should be like .5-1.0 ohms between the wires.
I've had every single one of those things go wrong at some point. There might also be a problem with major corrosion on the cap & rotor. Be sure those are new before doing anything else.
