Yes if it is the proper input case (32 spline) and if you have the correct adapter.

the NP241 is off a 700r4
That case will not fit a TH400 unless you swap in the correct 32 spline input shaft. The 700R4 and the TH350 are both a 27 spline case.

do you know if they make a new input shaft for the NP241 to convert it to 32 spline
That i don't know but if you search in the for sale forum you might find someone selling an input shaft or possibly a complete 241 cheap enough. You might also ask your local trans shop if they either have or know where to buy the correct input shaft.

or would i be better of just putting the 700r4 in and replacing the TH400
There are many people who will tell you that 700R4's are junk and to keep your TH400. I run a built 700R4 with no problems. However, if you decided to swap in a 700R4 then you will have more things to change like driveshafts, crossmember, and you'll need to do something about making the TTC work correctly and also install the proper bracketry for the TV cable and make DAMN SURE it is set correctly or you'll toast a 700 real quick.

I have a NP208 on it right now i would keep it but i cant find anything for it do know of anything for this case
What are you looking for? There are plenty of places that have rebuild parts for them.
