Help Please!

So I finally got my 91 jimmy all put back together,I got everything wired back up to the best of my knowledge. there are a couple of things i need help with though, pictures will follow.... First off, the horn and headlights and interior lights( well under the dash light when i open the doors) but my turn signals, winshield wipers, and fan does not work... and the vehicle wont turn over... i've done some research and i know that i need the ignition switch to hook to the starter. Thats the purple wire right? i found a somewhat large purple wire(pic included)anyway,that wire was cut, so i spliced it and ran it to the starter (to the stud closest to the engine block)... but still nothing. any ideas? included are 3 pics of wires that i dont know where they go... if someone could help with that as well.

the bottom pic is the end of the bottom left red wire... i hope that makes sense

Ok, the non-operational systems like the starter is because one of the two power feeds going into the cab are dead. If you look at the wires on the junction block that lead over to the engine, you'll find there are two big thick red ones. Both of those should be hot as long as the battery is hooked up. If one is dead, then you need to check all your fusible links.

The top four wires you are holding just infront of the throttle body are injector wires. Two of them should be hot when the ignition is turned on, and the other two are switched by the ECM to ground to fire the injector. Make sure each injector gets one hot and one switched ground and they'll work fine. The injectors are not polarity sensitive, so don't worry about which pole gets the hot wire and which gets the switched ground wire.

The single pole connector you've got on the pass side of the engine I am not sure about. However, my old 89 had a single pole connector in the exact same spot with a purple wire, and it simply wasn't hooked up to anything. I suspect that wire may not need to be connected on your truck either.

The eyelet wire you are holding in the last pic may be related to your dead junction block feed wire

That single pole connector looks strangely like an O2 sensor wire/plug. I could be wrong, but just throwing it out there.

The first pic are your injector wires, the 2nd pic (DRIVER SIDE RUSSELL) is your 02 sensor and IIRC is a purple wire, the 3rd pic as Russell said needs to be 12 volts all the time to both terminals on the junction block. There should be a wire on the starter solenoid (large battery cable lug) that goes to the passenger side of that junction block which gives it 12 volts. The purple wire that goes to the starter is the crank wire from the ignition switch and it does go to the (S) terminal closest to the block.

Ah yes, that is the driver's side I didn't spot the throttle cable -- figured the brake booster line was the pass side TBI coolant line. That, and the angle of the pic makes it look pass side, LOL

Yes, please plug in your O2 sensor, it helps a little bit with getting the engine to run properly

And yes, my old 89 did have the O2 sensor plugged in, and a pass side single terminal connector with a purple wire. Never did figure out what that one was for...

Don't worry Russell, i had to twist my head sideways 90 degrees to the left in order to figure out that pic myself. The booster hose is what caught my eye though right away and the fact it was the 02 wire he was holding.

ok that all that info will give me something to try tomorrow.
im not even sure i have the right purple wire to the starter... in the middle picture you can see a purple wire(under the big red one, if my pics were rotated correctly) thats the one i found that was cut, and spliced to the starter.... can you guys tell if thats the ignition wire? or is smaller diameter wire? or how can i trace it?

lol, as it should! still havent figured out how the tv cable hooks to it yet though

Should be two studs on the linkage. One on top, and another on the bottom. The bottom one is for the tv cable.

The thick purple wire in the harness you can see in the pic with the O2 sensor connector should be your starter solenoid wire. I suspect you did good in splicing it, and just need to get that second power input wire connected to get everything powered up.
