Unrelated, what ever is going on had nothing to do with you cleaning your air cleaner housing.
You might have done something when you were in the engine bay working, like bent something that now is hitting the fan or a belt, or could be something on the bottom is hitting the flexplate, but WD40 is not the cause.

friend years ago sold a car to a kid . gets a call few days later can you fix it for me ?

why ?

wont run after i washed out the dist cap/rotor with wd-40 then tryed to fire it up . it then blew the cap clean off the dist and he stoped from there and called my buddy to see if he could help .

but as said wd-40 in the air intake not likly to be cause of problem. recheck the work you did for somthing out of place. and possibly hitting the fan blades as its spinning.

I didn't see anything hitting it sounds like its coming from the bottom of the motor thanks for the quick response

Ok then it is completely unrelated, it is at the flexplate as I guessed.
go under the truck and try to see if something is hitting:
I have had bolts on the flexplate losening up and hitting the engine.
I have had cracked flexplates
I have had broken trans pump keyways.
All will make that noise.
I also have now a similar noise but it goes away when you get it above 1500RPM and it's from my crank thrus bearings.
Hopefully yours is a lose bolt and should be easy enough to see and fix.

That is close to the flexplate it might be worth pulling the cover and checking the bolts on the torque converter.

Thank you all for the advise important pretty new to all of this its my first 4x4 i will take it apart and hopefully find out what's wrong

Unless you poured a large amount of WD40 down the intake, thats not the problem. But you said that it would not turn over at first.
Unless your battery is weak, you may have a problem with the Bendix of the starter.

The solenoid may have not returned all the way back and is letting the starter gear touch the flywheel gear slightly.
I have seen the housing on the starter crack and let things touch.

Its not that i pulled the cover and all bolts were tight
OK bolts are tight, so get a flashlight and try to see if there is a crack in the flexplate, usually it cracks around the crank so it's deep and you will need a flashlight.
Also it helps if you have it running and go under to narrow down where the noise is coming from.
