Help quick guys, I need an ignition-hot wire under the hood from which to get a signal for a relay. It's for my electrolysis project and I need the signal to turn the unit on and off. Thanks a bunch!

If it's blade style fuses, I'm going to say get it off the fuse panel. No reason to be hacking into wiring that you don't have to...plenty of spots to push it through the firewall.

Oh yeah, sorry. 1999 GMC Yukon. Power everything, I want to splice into something under the hood to keep it all under there, but I will if I have to go under the dash.

pop the cover off of the relay center, get a test light, there should be something in there.
