I'm in the process of changing out my sway bar bushings, but one of them is stuck. One of the ones on the end, with both rubber and metal, and I cannot get it out of the hole for the life of me. I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing has worked. Any ideas?

One more thing I forgot- is it ok to drive a stock suspension K5 on the highway with no sway bar (since it's my only mode of transportation, and it may be a little while until I can get the sway bar back on)?

Yes, it's safe, it'll just feel a little different than what you're used to. I went out to look at one of the sway bars in the scrap pile (I don't use them), and it looks like you could push the inner sleeve out with a 3-in-1 (big c-clamp for u-joints and ball joints) or socket and hammer, then cut the rubber bushing or push it out with sockets and vise.
That said, I haven't found any use for the sway bars unless you have a camper on, and I like the ride better without it.:D
