Help!!! Restoring a 1973 k5 chevy blazers 2wd

About to start a frame off restoration on my 73 2wd blazer. Need some help with opinions on few things,ok a lot of things. The blazer is lowered now what's the best way to go, with an air ride suspension or with a lowering kit? Want a smooth ride and being low to the ground, Second is it worth it to put disc brakes on the rear? It has a stock small block 350, nothing powerful. Also a/c is gone so I want to reinstall a new system so has anybody used a good system? Just a few thing to start with....Thanks chevy nation!

1) Air suspension gives you adjustability and a better ride, but it will add cost and complexity to the build. If you like the "slammed" look, it's probably your best bet.
2) Might as well, disc conversions can be accomplished relatively cheaply and easily on these trucks, either by a conversion kit or swapping in a newer disc brake axle.
3) Decide if you want to go with stock components or aftermarket. If the whole system is gone it might be easier to go with a Vintage Air to avoid the hassle and cost of sourcing all the parts.
