Help Transfer Case

Hey all,
I just recently moved to colorado springs, co....I'm in the air force and work on Peterson AFB. My dad is a member of ck5.....90K5Blaze. He told me to post something and see if I could get some help. On the way moving down here my truck broke....the transfer case is shot. My truck is 93 GMC sierra 1500 4X4, 5 spd. But i need to replace the transfer case and i was checking to see if anyone out here knew where I could find a decent transfer case. ANy help would be great.

call ORD, www.offroaddesign.com they found me a 241 and were great working with me. What type do you need? If you become a full memeber, you can post in the parts wanted section, and you can also purchase from members in the for sale forum.

I would think those would be pretty common at the local junk yard.

I've called all the junk yards around here and they dont have any...kind of sucks

Well, as stated, ORD is a great shop and they can probably help you out. Did you ask the junkyards for one that was already removed from a truck and ready to purchase? I would think they would have a Chevy somewhere out there with one that you could yank. Maybe not though. Round these parts there are junkyards galore. Also, if you throw down for a membership as said, there are several for sale here.
