I have a set of Goodyear military 37x12.5x16.5, and am looking around for rims that would work. I think I may have found a set but they are off a 72 c20 that the owner says are 16.5 and about 9.5 wide. My dilemma is that he says they are 5.5 backspacing? Is that possibly going to work with my Dana 60, 14bff and 5 inch lift with front fender trimming? Help

That's a lot of backspacing. 4" would be about ideal.

i no 16.5s clear with no issues, ive never heard them hitting the calipers,so i imagine they would be fine. but ur fenders r another thing, they might need some trimming, any flexing with turning they will probably rub. but i could be wrong. u live pretty close to me btw...

H2 wheels have 5.5" backspacing
H1 wheels have 7.25" backspacing

Those are two examples of wheels with a LOT of backspacing... They aren't very easy to fit on a stock truck unless you have dually hubs (or portals). :D

That's true about the H1 wheels. Not so much with the H2s.

I'm running H2s and they bolted on with no problems. I can turn lock to lock without rubbing. And plenty of clearance at the tie rods. No wheel spacers used.

Nice pics..... Really tucks those tires under the fenders nicely. :thumb:

I was concerned about them being too far in. But they turned out to be in a good "stock" appearing location. The S10 I built I had to use flares, which I did not want for this truck.
