help wiring in starter kill

my truck is almost ready for the road. i'm pretty excited

the small town that i live in (approx 35,000) has become a real hot spot for vehicle thefts this year. more so in the last couple of months. seems around 3 a day are going missing.
sorry to say that 95% of them are the 88-98 chev trucks. 2% are the older chev trucks (incl the jimmys and blazers) the rest are all other makes/models.

I want to wire in a kill switch... I have no clue where to start or what kind of switch I need.

can anyone advise on how I go about this... thanks!

if you have an electric fuel pump make a cut off switch for that too ....i ran my kill switch from the battery so nothing in my truck gets power without it
