I’m ready to purchase a set of 42s for the blazer. I have two I’m interested in. Pitbull rocker radials 41.5 or the bias Interco 42 in IROKs.
I would like some feedback from anyone that ran either tire before I purchase. Truck will be driven on the street on weekends and possibly some longer trips without trailering. Snow wheeling , rock crawling , dirt trails are main things I will doing with it.

I run 44" TSL bias on the buggy...
Great trail tire...aired down they wrap rocks and boulders very good. Great mud tire too..
Maybe someone will chime in about grooving them, I've read that they work really good on slickrock if they have been cut.
I run single headlocks and have yet to push off a bead even aired down to 3-4 PSI..

my buggy hasn't been road driven, so I can't speak about long term road use.

Awesome thanks for the info!

Have you considered the 42” Maxxis Trepador?? A bunch of guys up here have gone to them . They work awesome and really seem to hold up .

I got to see them work on Fred Williams Alaska Army Truck and was very impressed .

They seem to run down the road at speed very well and are actually round unlike Interco Tires.

But since you asked about the Pitbulls vs Interco

For something that gets mixed use , I would go Pitbull they are a much better built tire. They do very well on the rocks and seem to have very tough sidewalls . They are very decent on the street for a bias Ply tire . We have lots of JK and JL jeep guys running 41.5 rockers on Daily Drivers

I personally would never ever run a Irok again on anything other then a trailer queen that strictly ran rocks . They turn to powder on the street .

The SXII is a great off-road tire but it’s going to suck on the street they are not round , and for awhile they were having issues with sidewalk cracks ( that may not be an issue now)

I've never had them but, between the 3 choices, the Pitbull does seem to be the best all around radial option.

Personally, if I didn't have to change rims, I'd like to try a 40" Nitto Trail Grappler.

I think any of the newer radials in the 40” variety are really good.

Toyo
Nitto
Pro Comp
Falken ( they don’t make a 40” yet but the 38” is awesome)
Maxxis ( they don’t make a 40” radial yet )

I was considering it! Only thing I forgot to mention is I’m on h1 wheels so I’m stuck with a 16.5 tire currently.

Mickey Thompsom Baja Pro X!

I voted for the Pitbulls... my iroks perform very well, but they're pretty soft and wear fast on asphalt. The rockers seem to hold up better on the road, plus they strongly support the proper side when it comes to politics.

Pro X is pretty bad ass but not DOT

I’d probably go PBR if I was forced to go with those two. The thought of bias ply on “longer trips” is not something I would consider.

Yeah those Baja pros x are sick . If I had a full on trailer queen I would run a bias tire no problem. The last part of what you said makes me feel even better buying from Pitbull tires lol

If they don't have a sale going right now I'd wait until the Senate puts an end to this impeachment... knowing pitbull, they'll probably offer a sale to celebrate.
