Help with a couple things on my 72’

The odometer isn’t working and the MPH is a little jumpy.. any suggestions?

I’m trying to seal up the doors …. Seems like it’s going to be a moist winter n the desert. I’ve been looking for the rubber thingamajig that mounts to the top of the vent window/frame… see pics

Both of the issues on the speedometer may be resolved with a new cable. I’d start there anyway

You could try removing the driven cable from the cable housing and cleaning it with some break clean and a rag, then apply graphite to the cable as you side it back. Spin cable as you do this.
Remove cable housing from back of speedo head, this can some time be done from under the dash, or you can loosen the instrument cluster enough to reach the housing attachment.

Sorry no recent experience, with gen1 k5 weatherstrip, other then recommend the brand name Precision.

Unfortunately no… those attach to the top. I’m looking for the part that mounts to the top of door.

I’ll give the speedo cable cleaning a try and see if it helps… or possibly replace.
