Hey Everyone,
I am trying to get the AC running in my 73 K5 and I have all the components now except for the hoses. Right now I have:
Stock Blower motor, Evaporator and Drier on Firewall
Replacement Compressor
Parallel Flow condenser from 1984 Blazer
I want to run R134 which is why I got the condenser from the newer blazer but now I need to run AC hoses cause I don't have any. There are a couple shops in the area that will do them for 60 to 100 bucks per hose (I need 3) but if you look online, you can get custom made hoses for like 30 bucks each.
My problem, is that for custom made hoses I need to know the hose size AND what type of fitting goes on each end. There are a TON of available fittings so I have no idea which one is right.
Does anyone know what fittings are used on the compressor, condenser and drier so I could order some hoses online? I assume one of the fittings needs a service port in it somewhere but I don't know which fitting that would be.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
