Trying to get the back power window to work with no luck. New motor installed, switch works, jumped safety switch in tailgate and have power to the motor. What am I missing? Figure motor should work since there is power to the plug, but it will not run. Has anybody run into this problem or have a wiring diagram for power windows so I can figure this out.

mine did this, there was corrosion at the key were it plugs in
also check the connections at the motor to see if there making good connection

Have you checked the ground? Run a ground from the tailgate, where the motor is mounted, to the frame.

Have you unplugged the motor, and then put 12v to one or the other metal tabs at the plug? If you do this, make sure the window doesn't come out too far. Just do a quick touch to see if the motor is working.

good luck, im changing mine to manual and getting rid of the headache

I think I might do the same. The key doesn't fit the rear lock and I have to roll it down from inside. Think I'd rather just have it manual...
