Help with carb ID

looks like a carter carb.same as edelbrock.is the choke closing all the way when you turn on the key.maybe its just a adjustment issue.cold engines with the choke not closing will take more to get started.do you pump it a couple times before you turn over?

My mistake . The first set of num are 96505S. I missread the last number as a 5 .

nope. I have the edelbrock. same thing.

Sucks offroad. it stalls out alot going up hills and off camber. Get a q jet and run that

Id rebuild it and put in spring needle and seats into the floats.helped mine run a lot better offroad.rebuikd kit is I believe around 40 bucks.cheaper than a new carb.

I think I'll do just that for now. I was thinkin on looking for a used q jet for later ,BUT HAVE NO IDEA what to look for. My blazer is a 75 and has no smog restrictions, does anyone know what type of q jet would work right w my stock 350? As I want to start hunting for one soon!
