Help with dana 60 swap

I bought a 91 blazer on ebay that had a 10 bolt 3.73 rear that blew up. I picked up a 4.56 dana 60 from a 86' cucv but it was to 6 inches shorter. are all cucv's the same length

Ummm, hmmmmmm, welll...... I'll try.

The 60 will swap right over. You will need to re-gear. Length of truck has nothing to do with this swap.

you said the rear blew up.... if the you got the "rear" out of the cucv, that's a 14bolt...and will have a detroit locker. if that's the case, the perches/shock mounts need to be swapped. and your front/rear axle bolt patterns won't match. if your talking about the front axle...then it's a bolt in swap. oh yeah, the rear also needs a conversion ujoint.
