Hi - came across a couple of large drawers at my local dump. They were in create condition with casters. I decided to build a simple compartment to enclose them. Looking for some ideas for holding the drawers in place at the front. not sure if I want to use elastic cord, or something that I have to raise each time I want access. Perhaps something that I can pull across and latch to one side, something expandable? Would Home Depot or Lowes carry something simple like this. There is not much room between the front of the drawers and the tailgate when closed, but enough to make them roll into it.
Appreciate your input.
Thanks

How about putting some "L" brackets on and running a bar in front of them.

I would some sort of hinge on each side. Like a screen door lock, something that would be easy to remove and then swing out to access the drawers.

A removable bar would clearly be the strongest, but for ease of access some kind of auxillary door look would probably work pretty well:

You can go as heavy duty as needed depending upon how much weight you're putting in the drawers :)

In any case, a trip to the door lock aisle of your favorite local home improvement joint should solve the problem!

Why not just put it close enough to the tailgate and let that keep them in place? It appears you already have that installed.:D
