OK, I got a 2000 Chevy Blazer (s-10 2wd) that has a transmission problem. It seems to hold first way too long. If you take off at a normal speed it will hit 3,000 rpms before it shifts. It will shift closer to normal if I accelerate slowly. If I mash the gas it will hold first and hit the rev limiter before it shifts. Its been like this for probably five months so I dont think the transmission is going out (yet haha). I checked the codes a while back and it said something about a "performance shift servo stuck or sticking". It would be great if I could fix it without pulling the tranny. Has anybody had or heard about this problem? I really hope the trans wont have to be rebuilt because thats a lot of money I would rather spend on my K5
Thanks for any help guys.
