help with rust repair

First please forgive me if this is covered elsewhere. I have to admit rust repair is not something I am to experienced with. I can cut and weld patch panels but these areas have me at a loss for ideas. The cab on my 83 cc is perfect except the drivers side windshield pillar and the roof panel in the rear passenger door jam. Any help with greatly be appreciated.

I can't see exactly where that is located because the picture is nice and tight. Do you have some photos that give a better perspective of the whole area?
