Ok so today I get in my K5 and start driving and notice that I now have to make really wide right turns but I can still make regular left turns.
What could be the problem?

Yesterday it was fine on the way home. I also checked for losse steering box bolts, frame crack(again), Bent tie rod, and Bent steering stabiliser(SP?)

Help this is my DD

did it just happen? spring bushing finally give out, have someone turn the wheel while you watchfrom underneath.

X2. this is the easiest way to find out whats going on. Do it in park though, no need to have the truck moving.:D

You may need to set the axle up on jack stands to check for binding.

OK I haven't been able to get the front end off the ground yet to see whats binding if anything but I noticed something on the way to get gas.

At a full stop with the steering wheel and tires straight I can turn the steering wheel 2 1/2 times to the left but I can only turn to the right a half a turn.

Hopefully that can help someone help me:D

2-1/2 turns is a lot. a quick check of the rag joint is in order. it could tear and allow turning one way better then the other.

In the mean time, get it off the road. the problems you describe are dangerous and could get worse.

This is the only thing I have to drive to work

get someone to give you a ride. It could save your life or someone elses life. Turning is very important.
