I bought these for my front turnsignals.

They are 6" oval with 10 LEDs. Problem is there is no way to mount them they are sealed. I did not do proper research:doah:. I think they are a grommet mount but I cannot find a 6" oval grommet. I have found the brackets but no grommets unless I buy a new light:mad:. I also need the pigtail for them but I think I can use bullet connectors. I would like to use the actual pig tails. Here is what the back of the light looks like.

From top to bottom left to right the connections are Ground, Tail, Stop/Turn.

Maybe some boat guys (Ryoken) know what I need or where I can get it.

Thanks

Dik

I measured the light and it is identical to the optronics brand and the connector layout is the same. Would it be safe to say that it is an optronics? The grommets and pigtails are about $4 a piece and I still need the bracket. I am not sure if I can cut an oval hole precise enough to mount these properly. I was gonna buy the oval brackets and then cut out a rectangle from the core support and weld the oval bracket in its place.

Open to opinions.

No idea on that one.

I was going to buy some lightworks lights from Lockhart Phillips.
Stop into South Bay Motorsports, off of HY54 in Nat City, and ask them for the catalog.

To cut an oval like that, buy a hole saw and drill two holes......then connect the holes with a grinder and cut-off wheel. Easy.

Ya it sucks they dont have prices listed. Just go to the home page and click on quick quote and they will email u back the prices. I do the quick quote fo ya cause i needin somethin like them to do my bumper. Itll prob. be tommorrow before i get a price.

Yep, looks like a grommet mount. My boat trailer has that exact size. Walmart carries lights like that, maybe the gromets and plug too....but im not sure. I know a new light there is like $12 and comes with grommet and plug thouhg....

Wal mart will ocasionally have just the grommets, Napa has the grommets and the pigtails usually. A place like tractor supply or cal ranch would have them too.

Napa is like 2 blocks from my house I will have to go check them out. Thanks for the input. Man I should have done my research. I was wondering why these were so cheap:doah:. Once I buy pigtails and grommets I will be in for the same amount as buying them complete:o

Yea definitly check out napa, they sell a bunch of different LED lights. Also you could talk to a local towing company. My brother got a catalog from the owner of a tow company that he buys all his lights for his trucks from. I can't remember the name but his lights look pretty similar to the ones you posted except with bezels. I will try and get the company name for you. These are his lights, Im pretty sure they are held on with a bracket from behind the bumper
