I bought an 86 blazer, the former owner hit a dear and replaced the nose, but I have water leaking in, at first it was real bad but I used window rtv and did my best at resealing windshield with out removing which fixed most of the leaks, now I have leakage on the passanger side. when I spray water on top of windshield letting it run, it leaks a little over the kick panel above the vac. unit for the vent, So I figure I'll put a new windshield, best deal I found was safe lite 125.00 no warranty or 150.00 for windshield and life time warranty so I'm doing the windshield for the small difference. On drivers side tho is a different story, over the top of and on windshield, just a little leakage above kick panel but when I hose down the hood letting it run up the hood onto the cowl, its a little worse over kick panelm and it's leaking somewhere above the fuse box and onto the hfuse box, I have covered the fuse box to protect it. I was wondering, I went to pull the cowl panel off the truck and found no gasket/ weather stripping between back of hood and cowl nor is there any between the cowl and the area at the bottom of the windshield which has the oblong holes that the cowl upper pins go in when installing it. I have tried to find cowl weatherstripping/gaskets but noone seems to have them, Any body got any idea's.
