Well.. I have a 77 k5 with a 350 with an edelbrock intake and edelbrock 4bbl carb and i rebuilt the carb about 3 weeks ago.. about 3 days after that it started popping...sounds like its shoving backpressure up through the intake and out of the carb when i would get on it or just get up to a certain speed (around 35 to 40) but only through my primary barrels not my secondarie. i heard that it was my distrib/timing, cracked intake or broken intake gasket (gasket was borke but only around water jacket) intake is fine... and its still doing it.. also heard it could be a broken valvle spring.. its not missfiring.. and all cylinders have over 155 compres.. no one i have talked to can figure it out. if somone out there has had this problem and can help me i would appreciate it so much.. thanks for reading this..
