Help!!!

I've got a 78 chevy that I need smogged and I can't track down the thermostatic air cleaner that can get me passed..Does anyone have information on how to obtain one-I've rummaged my local junk yards for days!!

Essentially it's a simple butterfly valve, some are electric and some are vacum driven. It was used in emissions to cool the engine when it becomes to hot and visa versa. I live in sacramento, but if u got the part I will gladly take care of the shipping. Thanks

so its on the air intake? i have the entire air intake with cleaner. is this it?
