how can i fix this issue..
replaced ball joints all 4
axle shaft is hitting the ball joint..
what can i do to fix this..

Sounds like the balljoint isn't in all the way. Do you have the nuts tightened down? I'd start there.

Pics would help.

well, i ended up sending it to a shop, and hopefuly they can fix it for a reasonable price and if not ill post pics and what not for you guys though..
thanks for the help anyways sorry guys

well the shop i was taking it too doesnt do axel work anymore
so i took it back to big o tire and had them fix it, which they fixed
my issue they put on the ball joints uppers on lowers and vice versa.

Glad to hear it's fixed, but a simple pic could have saved you hundreds of $$

i call BULL SH!T :eek1:

no way you can do backwards. the ball joints are 2 diffrent sizes.

and even if you could the upper in the lower the stud would stick up so bad you would never get the axle in the hole.

i dont know what happened all i know now is it is fixed but i have another issue now,
i do not remember for life of me what goes on the inside of the axle tube, at the end to hold the axle in place so it doesnt flop around inside

nothing goes inside the axle tube. You need to put the hub on, and it will keep the axle shaft from flopping around.

Not to worry. There's a lot of little parts to remember when assembling a hub, and it's easy to get things mixed up/confused. :waytogo:

well, its back together except for front drive shaft and putting the fluid in, just ran out of time last night.
