HELP

Trying to remove the front half of the front driveshaft to change the ujoint, and she won't come at all. Extends almost all the way then stops.. I thought these came apart into two pieces, am I wrong..

I tried to pull the shaft off with the highlift to no avail...

Any ideas whats going on??

u shouldnt have to take it off. just pull the retainers and pound it out like n e other u-joint

Kinda hard to pound it out while its still on the truck.

Can this shaft (205 flange to D44) be separated into the cv section and the slip yoke section??????

just take the whole thing out.

THere is a sleeve on the end of the female part of the slip joint that you have to unscrew to separate the two halves of the driveshaft.
