Helping my cousin out...what transfer case does her 99 Silverado K1500 have?

Not up on these. My cousin's fiance has a '99 Chevy Silverado K1500. Having some transfer case troubles and they were wondering about some things.

-It has the push button setup on the dash with "Auto 4wd", "2wd", "4hi", and "4lo" buttons. Anybody know which transfer case(s) it might have?

-Anybody have one of these laying around they want to get rid of? They are in Farmington Hills, MI and we have family all over the Flint/Detroit area.

I keep thinking that but dunno for sure. I've never owned anything with a button operated transfer case.

those have actuators on them that go out, so the mechanical case and goodies maybe just fine, but in need of a new actuator.


just an idea before you go out and buy a whole new case.

I'm unsure of what is wrong with it.

My other cousin (this one's brother) used to work for GKN in the tech department of the driveline division so I'm sure whatever he's needing it replaced for is valid.
