Helpppppp!!!!!!

I asked this question over in the 1st Gen forum, and got no help at all, other than comments bout my manual steering. Do I NEED a dropped pitman arm on my 70 K5 to run a 4" lift??? I have heard yes and no. The problem is, NOONE makes a dropped arm for my manual steer box, so I"m kinda screwed, unless I change boxes, which I do not want to do. Sound off guys, give me the straight scoop.

Yes you need it, make one yourself if you can't find it.
