Herculinar the blazer cab

Shoulda worn gloves... there are horror stories here about how difficult bedliner is to remove, and some truly epic bits combining the words "herculiner" and "hootus" :doah:

Also, I know that shopvac! :D

It looks good. I'm thinking about using the U-POL Raptor in mine, just cuz I'd rather tape off and spray than roll...wish I had went ahead and done my zr2 bed, rockers, and flares so I"d know how it holds up, but I've heard good things.

I wonder how it will act when it gets hot from the exhaust/tranny. I had my interior Line Xd and have been happy with it, but I think next go around ill do it myself. The Line X doesnt soften up when it gets hot and becomes rubber like the Rhino liner does. Im curious about the Herculiner as well.

My last Bronco I bed lined, and I tell you what, the A/C could not cool the interior down as the drive train and exhaust heat rising unto the floor would just heat the inside and break a sweat driving. I hated it especially on long drive. And the noise factor was a bitch too. Never again, rubber flooring way to go.

This. Ill be spray canning, undercoating and then rubber matting the interior of my trooper. I learned my lesson from the 87. All the stuff does is trap moisture underneath it, promote rust growth, and make it a pain in the ass to clean the floor.

That was something I really regretted doing...

To answer your question, it doesn't seem to get soft at all on those hot hot days. Not even when I'm driving down the highway for 2 hours straight, in some traffic, dousing myself with a wet towel from the cooler. The Herc didn't loosen up anywhere or change at all.

Does it even get "hot" in Carver MA?? I mean really? Dousing with a wet towel! Pansy, come on out to the desert! I'll show you some real heat!

LMAO!

Nice, I suppose you have a point there. :D

On the other hand though, I'll be the one shoveling snow off the driveway during a noreaster in a t-shirt and still complaining it's hot out.

Hmm. Ive never had this issue. My interior stays just as cool as it did with carpet. And noise is a bit louder but the only time I notice it, is when im trying to talk on my cellphone.
