Herculiner and wires

Is it normal to have wires running under the carpet in the back of the bed /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I wanted to Herculine it this weekened. I thought /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif I would just have to pull the carpet and unbolt the roll bar and back seat. I was wrong /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

Mine did not have wires in the cargo area. It was a 90 K5. They might be old wires for a sub, amp, speakers etc. Track the wires back and find out what they are for???
