Bought it from FastEddy on this board, its off I believe a '90 Cavalier. It is the same EXACT steering wheel I used in a couple of other Blazers that I got off a 70's to 80's Camaro.

Looks good frank....might just consider that one myself...lol. Removed the front seats and carpet 3 months ago..found some rust in the right front corner...repaired it and finished Herculining the entire cab...now i can't decide on carpet or rubber...desicions...decisions...lol.

I love the grey Blaz!!!!! Did you put a UV coating over it to keep it from fading? If so what did you use? I'm gonna do mine soon and can't find anything that will protect itexcept for some super expensive stuff from POR15.

Looks good Frank-

Hey by the way I found a house! It doesn't have the huge shop like I wanted, but it has lots of room for one!

My wife and I are excited!

Ben, that's great news! Where is it?

SWEET!
Wakedog, I jsut saw your site and noticed you have an 86 as well. I just bought my first K5 one week ago today and It's an 86 as well (be it a Blazer, and not a Jimmy, but so what.) You are now my new best friend and I will be asking you lots of questions I am sure. ESPECIALLY since you got a newer Blazer steering wheel. Where did you find that? I want one of those exactly but wasn;t sure the ebst place to look. Also, are those the stock seats you got in there? Looks like it.

I'll be asking more later on I am sure!

Sounds good spence, if i cant help you out im sure many others on this board will. I do love my 86, k5's are just great trucks, i have learned alot and have had fun in the process of doing it. The new steering wheel can be found off the newer 89(i think) and above chevy and gmc trucks, so i'd say take a trip to the junkyard and see what you can find, but you will need a puller to get it off. The seats are the stock seats but they have been reapolstered(sp) but by the previous owner. I will have to get my herculiner pics up soon for everyone. Gimme a pm if you have any questions.

What is the diameter of that steering wheel?

Good lord. The rod up that man's butt must have a rod up it's butt.

The Camaro wheel is 14.75"...............
