Axles this....axles that.... 10b's are just fine with 42's when it's a truck that never even sees a gravel driveway. He doesn't have any real power under the hood, and 4.56 gears to help out a little. Besides faster brake jobs and replacing wheel bearings twice as often, strength wise the stocker 10's will do just fine.


You guys whine when there is 1 ton gear under a show truck, and criticize the same truck with 1/2ton gear because "it would never hold up...." Hold up to what? Grassy knulls where all the show trucks park to make a a row of chrome and yellow paint?

Did you miss the statement about the "chrome diff covers for good locks". Not looks, locks.
The yellow shock boots match the yokes and the tcase brace.
70000 miles, I doubt it. He either had the speedo disconnected, or it has rolled over. With the gearing, the speedo and odo would be way off.
It's a clean truck. Not much good to us, but as a show piece, could be worse.

that thing has about $1k worth of tires, and maybe a thou worth of engine (he doesn't really say jack about it)... other than that it ain't worth anything. Slip yoke 208? 10 bolts? bling? stereo crap?

O.K. now that I seen that I can get 10-15K for mine right. Who wants to buy it now and I will take the ebay fee off the price of the truck. Look at pics, I will be losing at least 10K but I will let it go for 12K. Some peoples children. I am from OH and this makes me not want to admit it LOL.
