Trust me guys...the rack is fugly. We are gunna replace it with a better one.
Besides, I couldn't get it in the garage.............I tried, opps:o

She'll be my dd while my Jeep is down for some much needed attention. No intentions on making her a trail rig.....tow rig for my trail rig yes.

I couldn't figure out why the wheels looked funny, thanks for pointing that out;). We'll be replacing them soon too, along with bigger tires and a mild lift:D

Take it to a nasty trail and TEST it. Whatever breaks first is what needs to be modified. All kidding aside, it looks nice, the wheels do need to be corrected though. I usually clean clean clean a ride when i first get them and start on the small annoying stuff first. for instance my 97 gmc i just bought had heater fan issues and the inside door handles were broke. Sounded like easy fixes till i tore into them and found out the factory rivits the door handles in lol. Basicaly i always say fix the smaller annoying stuff and do the things you want to it that "makes it your truck".

I really wanted to get in there and clean and tinker with stuff, but we had rain non stop from Thurs-Sunday. I think we fixed the leak it had, and Im still dealing with the speedo issue:mad:

First thing I like to do is service everything. New engine oil & filter, new fuel filter, new air cleaner, new fluid in the diffs (good time to inspect the guts while you have the covers off), etc. Also pull the wheels off to check the brakes & see if you have any noticeable play in the bearings, ball joints, or u-joints. Grease everything. Clean up the engine compartment with some zip ties & wire loom if it needs it. Like OB said, fix all the little things, then start customizing it. Nice looking 'Burb though! Do you know what gears it has?

I had those same wheels and all you can do to make them face the right way is turn the truck the other way. Nice truck though!!

Haha, i saw that rack on craigslist before i saw this post.

burb Looks good!

I'd start with a big stacked plate trans cooler if it doesn't have one already. Temp. gauge for the trans also, maybe even a deep pan.

Also, congrats on the nice looking burb and welcome to CK5:D
