Those are hubs for the older "big hub" d44's... He says they are off his 1 ton truck, d44 does not = c30

External hubs for the D44 were last seen in '76

My guess is someone sold him a K30 with a swapped in D44 with external hubs at some point.

I have those hubs on my 3/4 ton D44 axle. They are somewhat rare.
They are awesome hubs, huge. Industructible. I don't remember the specifics, but I think the D60 ones were a little different. I had to find a 3/4 D44 to rob them from. Somewhere in the late 70's GM switch to some crappier hubs, so they are somewhat hard to find.
