I got this truck in a trade for roughly $150 in Craftsman hand tools. The guy was asking $1800 for the truck and needed tools,so for the past 17 years I have been going to swap meets and buying broken/used craftsman tools taking them back for new. So he got ALOT of tools, but my cash output was about $150 over 17 years-not too bad I guess!
Just did the headlight relays(still need to run power to the relays), and am working on the cs130 alternator conversion now.

won't run w/o spark plug wires :D but nice score!!

If we want to go there, a battery is a must, the alternator needs to be hooked up, lots of hoses are open ended, but just like he said, good trade.
Or better, good work on the tools recycling, that was your score, you actually paid the guy his asking price which isn't very cheap.

and it only took 17 years.:wink1:

Thanks, guys. I drove it home and started pulling it apart. The headers were broken, had a FORD holley carb on it,and I dont like the way Chevy runs all the power wires from the alt, starter, battery to junction block. So I have cleaned all that up and eliminated unecessary wire clutter. Still have some work to do.But one day it'll be done.
