Got it! This thing is sweet. I really need to clean it up, it is kinda dirty, but it is a really straight truck. No rust, just a little clearcoat peel off the roof and hood. I'll take care of that. :)

I really don't care for the grille and taillights, I'm going to swap them out for stock ones.

I'm going to clean the fool out of it this weekend, I'll post pics when I get it done.

Great, clean rig, congrats! The condition looks great.

The center box is not stock nor the steering wheel (easy swap). Plan on swapping those out?

I also prefer the stock grill as well. Mine was painted "all gray" when I got it. Found a replacement in the junkyard. You should be able to find a lot of good things there.

Are you going to replace the smoked out tail lamps too?
 
Sweet, I like it.

Your right about the grille and taillights, I don't like them either. Would look much better stock!

Congrats:waytogo: What did you pay? The rear bumper/tire carrier is nice!
 
After looking at those pics, there's a bulge in my pants.

My favorite color inside and out with black wheels too. Also not digging the tail lights or the painted side markers. Not bad but I'd change them out too. The grille on the other hand, and I'm not one for billet grills, actually looks good on there. I'd probably change it out too but wouldn't be in a rush.

Already has good bumpers on it and some sort of lift, just needs 3/4 tons and 35s on H2 wheels. :whistle:
 
Yeah, going to swap out all the tinted lights.

I took it for a long drive at lunch. I didn't realize but the speedometer is off because it has been regeared. Gotta put new speedo gears in the trans.

The passenger side window also needs to be greased up, it only goes halfway down before stopping. The tailgate glass also won't go down, so I'm going to take the access panel off and see what's up with that.

The truck is also loud as hell, which in my younger days wouldn't have been a problem, but in my old, parent stage it is too loud. I'm going to replace the muffler with a Turbo muffler.

And I'm going to ditch the tint, it is just too dark for my liking.
 
Looks like the top has the factory tinted glass, I don't think you can remove it cause it's inside the glass. Tailgate glass doesn't appear tinted. So, just the side windows and vent windows. Should be easy to remove. Doesn't look bad though.
 
Yeah, just want to remove it from the side and vent windows. Gonna bust out the heat gun and start peeling this weekend.

If that is a 91 I think you are going to need to change out the DRAC to fix the speedo.

Search this forum for DRAC and you should find the info you need.
 
That thing looks great!! Idk, I think that grill looks really good!!
 
Thats a sweet rig man. I like the grill too, but whatever floats your boat. It looks clean, also. Good luck with it!
 
Wow, I like it. Anyone know who makes the rear bumper? I like the thin profile with the swing out tire carrier.
 
That's too nice a rig to cut up and make a rock rig out of. I don't know what your plans are as I have not read this thread, if you said or not but that would make a great DD, trail rig, hunting rig. 35 or 37's max tires, gear it right and run it.
