i bent the intake pushrod on the #4 cyl 2 weeks before the pull and the rocker on #4 exhaust was loose. i tightened it up not thinking about it. it ran good till last weekend when i drove it up north and it was ticking bad. i pull a valve cover off up there and didn't see anything wrong. it kept getting worse on the way home. when i got home, i pulled the valve cover off and cranked the engine with the key off. the exhaust on #4 was loose so i tightened it up and cranked it some more. the valve went down like 1/8-1/4".
hopefully comp will warenty the cam and lifters, i don't have the money and im loosing my job on friday. it sucks as ive had to bum a ride to work for the last 3 weeks.
my cousin is taking his s10 blazer to the mounds again when i go, but his rod is knocking BAD so we are putting a 350 in it soon. soon after we get it done we are going to have to test it out
TJ I need to come pick that Torque Convertor up soon, then get it in my truck. Let me know when all of you are going to the mounds. Its only 2 hrs away, so it should be doable as long as gas doesn't go up to much more. And hopefully my g/fs brother trades me his 38" tsl's with about 70% tread for my 35 that are practically brand new
