Hey guys, so I'm having a bit of a problem... as title says the blazer is hesitating and stalling on me seemingly randomly. Just threw on a fuel filter but no change.
The part that's weird to me is there doesn't seem to be a change in driving conditions that causes it. If I let the truck idle in the driveway it will stall after a minute or 2 but idle doesn't fluctuate it just turns off. Driving at low, or mid speeds, lite acceleration or foot planted, it will hesitate randomly, and when I let off the gas and slow down it stalls.
Any ideas??

Guessing this is your 87 K5 ...
Does it do it with a full tank as opposed to a partially filled tank? Reason I ask is because the rubber fuel line on the pick-up tube in the tank has a tendency to split with these newer fuels and can suck up air. May not be your problem but something to keep in mind.

Yes it is the 87... sorry forgot about that part lol but the tank is about 3/4 full right now. It was my daily for a couple months, the problem started out of nowhere... I usually gas up every week, tank usually doesn't get too much lower than half unless I was driving around everywhere that week. So it's still within its normal fuel levels. Although I can't rule out this option. I was thinking about ordering a new fuel pump from rock auto just to throw parts at it but I want some other ideas to check before I spend money.

Unplug your EGR, the vacuum connection and the electrical plug and see if it solves the problem...make sure to put a temp plug in the vacuum line.
