I just saw a quick shot of James Hetfield's(front man of Metallica if U didn't know) K5 "The Beast". WOW, that thing is no joke by the look's of it :eek1: Any one know anthing about it? Got any pics of it?

Trying to find info on it.. this is all I got..

What did you see about it? BTW, I have called my Blazer the beast for a long time too. That name sure fits them.

He also collects older guitars (particularly those from 1963) and enjoys working on old cars. Amongst his favorites are a '55 Chevy BelAir (which he helped built and restore himself), and 'The Beast', a fearsome all-terrain 4-wheel drive Blazer that is designed to survive everything from earthquakes to nuclear holocausts.

ya know... if James and Lars both have Blazers.... maybe they should be invited to Blazer Bash?

I just got a quick look @ it on TV, looked like: '80's, cammo paint, swing out tire/jerry can rack, mill. hummer wheels, full cage, 6-8" lift, 36-38"s, looked like a soft ride, not too stiff of springs, winch up front.

I thought it was a 73-75. Didn't it look like a full removable top. One of Metallica's guitar techs had a Fourwheeler cover truck a year or two ago. 1 ton crew cab dually ('86 I believe), runnin' 38.5" TSL's all the way around. It was his tow rig!

I remember that one. In the article it said he pretzeled his u-bolts doing a hillclimb for the photo shoot. Somewhat ironic that The Unforgiven is playing on my dorm stereo right now.

It would have happened anyways, Metallica was a catalyst. Besides, there are so many file sharing programs these days it's ridiculous.
