Ford doesn't really matter, I'm sure the WMS from another fullsize truck is pretty close. It's not like the Ford axle would resent the Chevy truck and break itself all the time.
Chris is right though, they're not super strong. Considering how easy and cheap a full float 14 bolt is to swap in...
You could probably hit that with a wire wheel and some black spraypaint, figure out what gears are in it, and turn it over to a Jeep owner for a small profit. They like those things for some reason. When you've got a 9" and a 14 bolt out there, I don't see much use for any other rear end swaps
There's also 16 (or maybe 19) and 30-something spline for full float 60s. The latter is obviously the more desirable.
