Some of you may have seen my camera mounted to the top of my truck on this trail. The camera worked great, although battery life is a little short, but it does get great video in 1080P HD so I was able to get some really nice scenery recorded on various parts of the trail. If you're interested in a nice scenic taste of Moab, check out some of the video. If you're looking for extreme carnage or horsepower, these videos aren't for you. :)

That's cool. Did you have it recording all the time or did you turn it on and off?

Makes me think about doing something similar. :D

It was on most of the time but I shut it off during extended breaks. There's a lot more video, but I just posted clips from different portions so noone got bored watching them.

I actually think a rear facing camera on the front vehicle might be more interesting since you could pull up and have it record everyone coming up from behind and over obstacles.

Brian those are real cool, I like the continuous footage, and the roof mount view. Awesome.

Kind of binging this to life, but do you have other videos posted? These are awesome.:waytogo: I would love to go to Moab, mostly for the scenery and to see other trucks, but I'm little concerned about my stockish truck and my driving abilities. These trails look like my style is there a lot of this at BB.

There's a lot of that kind of thing. That trail was fun driving along next to the river just a few feet away. I didn't catch much video on the other trail I did because I ran out of space on the flash drive and the fact that I sent have much time to take my hands off the wheel.
