Hey rust belt guys! co-worker's new 91 suburban

One of the guys at work just picked up a beautiful '91 Chevy silverado suburban. The perfect find, old lady owned, spent it's whole life in a small town in the desert, never wrecked and dealer maintained. It's got 135k on it with a newer GM Goodwrench TBI 350 in it, 10k on the engine. Interior is pristine, no stains, light wear in the drivers seat, it's almost perfect

Here's the crazy part. He paid $1500 for it!

Come on, you have to do this to us? I'm pretty sure even my steeltoe boots will have rot holes in them soon. Everything has a crust of salt 1/8" thick, especially on campus. Everyone's sue-happy around here it seems, so they salt to compensate since salt is cheaper than paying for a broken leg or hip and insurance costs.

That's an old Schwing 42M off the drivers side, a Schwing 36X off the pass side. The guys operates a new Schwing 39X SPB. All we have here at work is Schwing pumps and a couple putz telebelts.

That's the one thing I don't miss working on. The company I used to work for had three Putz and one Morgan.....I almost learned how to speak German after helping keep those pigs pumping.:D

Yeah I'm half way there, I've been wrenching on Schwings since '06.
